Grass Creek Construction, Inc. was founded in 2008 by Spencer Layton Richins, bringing more than 25 years of industry experience to the company’s foundation. Spencer, our qualifying agent, founder, and CEO, has been building his career since 1992 and stepped into executive leadership in 1999. As the grandson of Alan W. Layton, founder of Layton Construction, Spencer grew up immersed in the world of construction and entrepreneurship, shaping his vision for what a great building company should be.

AMC Concrete is renowned for its expertise in concrete tilt-up projects, and this strategic partnership has enriched Spence’s extensive understanding and proficiency in the construction industry.
