At Grass Creek Construction, we believe building strong relationships with our subcontractors is as important as laying a solid foundation. On October 16, we hosted our semi-annual Subcontractor Lunch & Raffle, an event that brings together our trade partners, good food, great conversation, and exciting giveaways.
Twice a Year, Same Purpose: Appreciating Our Team
We hold this gathering twice a year because our subcontractors are the backbone of every project we complete. They are on site day in and day out, delivering craftsmanship that reflects our values of integrity, service and excellence. By gathering them in a relaxed, festive environment, we show our appreciation and reinforce the strong network that makes Grass Creek Construction’s projects successful.
Burgers, Food, and Fellowship
This time around we fired up the grill and treated our subs to burgers and food. It is a simple gesture, but one that speaks directly to what matters: people. Our team, our subcontractors, our partners, all gathered to relax, mingle and share stories of the jobs we are working on together. The atmosphere was casual, friendly and grounded in genuine gratitude.
Raffle With Tools and Big Prizes
Of course, what is a gathering without some excitement? We held a raffle with lots of great prizes and tools because our subcontractors invest in their own trade, and we want to reward that. This year’s raffle was especially memorable. At the gracious invitation of Todd Campbell (one of the owners of Wasatch Trailer), we held the event at Wasatch Trailer Sales, who generously offered a trailer at dealer invoice price as a raffle prize.
A Special Partner: Wasatch Trailer Sales
Wasatch Trailer is more than just our venue host. They are one of our current project clients, with the new facility nearing completion. Their upcoming grand opening on March 14 will include a giveaway of two dump trailers and an open invitation for everyone to join in the celebration. Hosting our lunch and raffle at their site underscored the thriving partnerships we build and the mutual success we share.
Why It Matters
When our subcontractors succeed, our projects succeed. This event gave us the chance to step back from the jobsite, invest in relationships and publicly show gratitude for the hard work our subs bring to each project we partner on. It is not just about the buildings we erect. It is about the people behind them.
Looking Ahead
We are already gearing up for the next edition of the lunch and raffle, another chance to gather, build community and celebrate craftsmanship. If you are one of our valued subcontractors, keep an eye out for the invitation. And if you are exploring partnering with Grass Creek Construction, know this: we do not just build structures. We build relationships that last for generations.
